Traditionally, yoga was taught as an individual exchange between a teacher and student. This personal attention allows your specific needs and questions to be addressed, which is a very effective way to realize the benefits of yoga. In a private yoga session, appropriate instruction is offered based on your Doshic type (unique body-mind type) and the current influences in your life. In this focused setting you are able to connect with your inner intelligence and are encouraged to honor your body’s wisdom.
Private yoga instruction is a practical option if:
- You want to enhance your personal yoga practice
- You are new to yoga and want to establish a yoga practice
- You have personal concerns about joining a group class
- You need the convienience of lesson times made by appointment
Private lessons can be held at the lifestyle center of Balance & Bliss (up to two students) or in a quiet space at your home or office in Pinellas County.
Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga are available on a private basis and are an excellent way to handle the changes that occur during pregnancy, prepare for childbirth and enter into the role of motherhood.
