Balance & Bliss Beginnings is a program for women in their childbearing years. We offer a host of services which include a focus on fertility, pregnancy, birth and postpartum support. We offer massage, Ayurvedic consultations and lifestyle coaching, Ayurvedic bodywork and yoga all targeted toward assisting women and couples who are wanting to start a family or have already begun!

Fertility Support - This program is for couples who have had trouble conceiving as well as those who just want to prepare for an optimal conception. Jennifer Oppelt, LMT has completed study in the Nurturing The Mother® Fertility Specialist program. This program includes a specific massage protocol to be done between menstruation and ovulation while a woman is preparing to conceive. The same protocol can be done for men to support their reproductive health as well. During an educational session a couple can be taught how to massage each other to maximize the effectiveness of the treatment. The fertility massage protocol includes the following approaches to aid and/or support conception:

Cranial Sacral Techniques are simple energy holds that may open the central channel and align the head and pelvis. This has a powerful potential to connect the energy of the couple to each other and to the baby spirit they are calling to their family.

Jaw and TMJ Release work to open the mouth and the reflex areas of the hips and deep pelvis.

Colon Cleansing includes Castor oil packs and deep large and small intestine massage. This will support cleansing and increase circulation in the digestive system.

Pelvic Friction will break up adhesions and increase circulation to the reproductive organs.

Reflexology for Fertility will stimulate hormonal glands and reproductive areas to increase the energy flow through those areas, creating greater health and balance.

Acupressure will work the bladder meridians in the back to open the channel for conception support.

Pelvic Rocking to loosen the hips, lower back and simulate dancing, a known fertility enhancer.

Additional Services Include:

Fertility Educational Session to teach couples how to do the fertility massage techniques on each other at home. This session will also include information on nutrition, lifestyle, Ayurveda and other approaches to enhancing your conception efforts.

3 hours - $250

Prenatal Massage to provide much needed relaxation and stress reduction during your pregnancy. Our trained and qualified massage therapists will use appropriate techniques, bolstering and oils for pregnancy. Each clients individual needs will be considered during this intuitive massage session. A combination of relaxation massage, Ayurvedic massage, Reiki and chakra work will be integrated to provide a most comforting experience.

1 hour - $60

Ayurvedic Consultation  is an educational and informative session which consists of several evaluation methods (visual observation, pulse reading, questionnaire and conversation) to determine your original body/mind constitution (Prakriti) and your current physical, mental, and emotional state (Vikriti). We look at the balance or imbalances that may be present between your original nature and where you are currently, then a wellness plan is designed for your individual needs. This personalized plan offers considerations for lifestyle and appropriate eating, as well as herbs, essential oils and Ayurvedic treatments.

1 ½ - 2 hours - $150
