Denise is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and Instructor, Licensed Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher, who began studying Yoga in 1970 and received certification as a Yoga Instructor in 1985. She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an experienced teacher at the 500-hour level. Denise received her degree in Ayurveda from the Florida Vedic College in 2005 and is a professional member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. Denise consults with clients and offers traditional Ayurvedic treatments at Balance & Bliss Ayurvedic Lifestyle Center in Tampa, Florida. She is the founder and director of the Florida Academy of Ayurveda where she teaches a professional course in Ayurveda. As a life-long student of Yoga and Ayurveda, Denise knows the value of these ancient body/mind practices and uses it to create balance in her life and busy schedule. In her years of teaching, she has had the privilege of guiding many students on an enlightened path to balance and bliss.
Denise meets the currently established NAMA criteria for education and experience as an Ayurvedic Practitioner.
Kevin “KC” O’Dunn, B.Msc. LMT MA 49913
Kevin has been doing bodywork since 1974, he received his base training at Lindsey Hopkins, Miami, in traditional Swedish massage and Hydrotherapy. In 2004 he enrolled at Bhakti Academe, School of Intuitive Massage and Healing, Safety Harbor, Florida to study energy modalities. “A Bhakti massage is like a long, rejuvenating prayer.” Kevin explains. “The person receiving is nurtured in a way that harkens to the womb. It is physical and spiritual and healthful all at once. I use all I have learned over the years and incorporate it through Bhakti. It is wonderful.” In addition Kevin has trained in Ayurvedic bodywork at the Florida Vedic College, Sarasota, Florida campus, is a Reiki Master and Quantum Touch Practitioner. He holds a Bachelor of Metaphysical Sciences degree from UMS and Ministerial Credential and Doctor of Divinity in Universal Life.
